This hildoceras ammonite pendant is a Jurassic limestone ammonite from illminster, neatly drilled with a hypo allergenic pinch bail added for pendant use. Not supplied with cord but please see our range of inexpensive chains and necklace cords in wax cotton and leather.

Fossil marble letter holder or paper holder, a great desktop gift.
Fossil marble bookends. Each bookend is carved out of 400 million year old fossil marble and carved in such a way as to highlight a particular fossil as a center piece for each half of the bookend, the surrounding marble is worked decoratively and reveals further fossil markings within the rock. These make wonderful gifts but please keep in mind they are a hefty item to ship so unfortunately shipping costs need to be taken into account.

Composite refers to fossils that fossils that have some additional attention to bring them to market. In the case of these teeth, which are often found semi embedded or loose, the tooth may be cemented on to the bedrock to provide stability, the bedrock is also carved to a consistent shape and size.
